Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in T’bilisi & Welcome Dinner
Welcome to Georgia! Start your trip in style with a private airport transfer service. Upon landing at Tbilisi Airport, you will meet our airport representative, ensuring a stress-free arrival. Once your bags are stowed, sit back and relax as you’re comfortably driven directly to your hotel.
In the evening, unwind and join us for a special welcome dinner. This is your opportunity to meet your fellow brave adventurers, share your excitement, and prepare for the unforgettable experiences ahead. We’ll also conduct a brief orientation, giving you an overview of the incredible journey awaiting you over the next six days in Georgia!
Day 2: T’bilisi Walking Tour and Local Food Experience
After breakfast, you’ll meet your local guide at the hotel to begin your exploration of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.
We’ll kick off with a pleasant stroll along the old streets to the historic Metekhi Church. Along the way, you’ll hear captivating legends and learn about the fascinating history behind the founding of Tbilisi.
The tour will take you past iconic landmarks, including the Bridge of Peace, Europe Square, Rike Park, and the Clock Tower.
You’ll also see several must-visit attractions, including the Mother of Georgia statue, the Juma Mosque, the Bridge of Love, the Patriarchate, the Toastmaster Statue, and a piece of the Berlin Wall.
Next, we’ll delve into Tbilisi’s rich culture with visits to Anchiskhati Church and Sioni Cathedral, home to some of the city’s oldest frescoes.
After the tour, we’ll drop you off at your hotel.
In the evening, immerse yourself in the heart of Tbilisi’s culinary scene with a memorable Food Tour hosted by a local family. This intimate experience gives you the chance to savor six traditional Georgian dishes, all made from family recipes, while learning about the culture and cooking techniques directly from a local lady in a cozy, welcoming home. You’ll also enjoy homemade wine and Chacha (Georgian vodka), providing a true taste of Georgia’s rich beverage traditions. Throughout the evening, a knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights into Georgian cuisine and hospitality. The tour also includes hands-on cooking masterclasses, where you’ll participate in preparing classic Georgian dishes. To ensure your comfort, transportation will be provided from the meeting point to the family’s home. Day 3: Uplistsikhe, Gori, and Mtskheta
We’ll explore the ancient Uplistsikhe Cave Town, a fascinating site carved into the rocks, where ancient and modern architectural styles blend seamlessly.
After immersing yourself in history, we’ll enjoy a traditional Georgian lunch at a local restaurant, giving you a true taste of authentic Georgian life.
Next, you’ll have the option to visit the Joseph Stalin Museum in Gori, where you can learn about the life of one of history’s most significant figures, or simply explore the city at your own pace.
Later, we’ll head to Mtskheta to visit the stunning Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral—two of Georgia’s most iconic and breathtaking landmarks.
We’ll wrap up the day at your hotel, filled with new experiences and fascinating stories to share. This trip is the perfect chance to discover some of Georgia’s most remarkable sites while delving into its rich history and culture.
Day 4: Zhinvali, Ananuri, Gudauri, and Kazbegi
Our first stop is the Zhinvali Water Reservoir, where you’ll have the chance to snap some stunning photos of the surrounding landscape.
Next, we’ll explore the historic Ananuri Fortress, a site rich in history with amazing views.
After a delicious Georgian lunch, we’ll head to the Gudauri Viewpoint, where you’ll not only enjoy breathtaking panoramas of the Caucasus Mountains but also visit the Georgian-Russian Friendship Monument, a colorful landmark with fascinating artwork and even more spectacular mountain views.
The main highlight of the day is in Stepantsminda (Kazbegi), where we’ll take a thrilling 4WD ride up to the peaceful Gergeti Trinity Church, offering incredible vistas of Mount Kazbek.
Finally, before we head back to Tbilisi, we’ll stop by the Room Hotel Kazbegi to take in more of the stunning scenery.
Day 5: Badiauri, Bodbe, Signaghi, and Kvareli
The next day, we’ll visit Bodbe Monastery, home to the tomb of St. Nino, a key figure in the conversion of Georgia to Christianity in the fourth century. This serene site offers a peaceful spiritual retreat and a chance for reflection.
Next, we’ll explore Sighnaghi, the “City of Love,” known for its well-preserved architecture, a wedding house open 24/7, and breathtaking views of the Caucasus Mountains. It’s a place where history, culture, and romance blend seamlessly, offering endless opportunities for beautiful photos and a taste of Georgian hospitality.
Even if you’re not a wine drinker, you’ll still enjoy the visit to Kindzmarauli Winery and a charming family-owned winery. The experience isn’t just about wine—it’s about immersing yourself in the rich tradition of Georgian winemaking, exploring the vineyards, learning the ancient methods of production, and savoring the unique atmosphere of the winery. It’s an experience that everyone can appreciate, with something special for every guest to enjoy.
Day 6: Free time in T’bilisi & Farewell Dinner
This day is your free time to explore Tbilisi at your own pace. It’s the perfect chance to revisit any spots from the walking tour that you particularly enjoyed or to discover new places that catch your eye. Whether you decide to stroll through the charming old town, shop for local crafts, or relax in one of the city’s cozy cafés, there’s plenty to explore. And don’t worry—our hotel is easily accessible from the old town, so you can come and go as you please. We’ll also provide you with tips and recommendations to help you make the most of your time in this vibrant city.
In the evening, we’ll gather for a farewell dinner to wrap up the tour, sharing stories and celebrating the memories we’ve made together.
Day 7: Bye, Georgia
After an amazing time in Georgia, we’ll send you off with a smooth private transfer from your hotel to Tbilisi Airport. Safe travels, and enjoy your flight to the next adventure! See you again on your next brave adventure!
